Who We Are
Kuth Ranieri is among an emerging group of innovative designers at the forefront of green building who question and rescript conventional design and building practices. Committed to research and experimentation, Kuth Ranieri is led by Byron Kuth and Elizabeth Ranieri.
Kuth Ranieri has won AIA awards at the regional, state, and national levels including the Architectural League’s Young Architects, Emerging Voices and I.D. magazine’s 39th, 45th, and 47th annual awards. The firm’s work was part of the multimedia show entitled Fabrications exhibited at SFMOMA, New York MoMA, and the Wexner Center. Princeton Architectural Press with the Graham Foundation published their monograph, Kuth Ranieri Architects, released in 2010.

We work to integrate principles of equity and inclusion into each project, beginning by reflecting on our own design process and approach.
Expanding on our success with implementing an environmental sustainability framework into our projects, we monitor social equity metrics as part of our design process to provide focus on strategies and issues that will create positive social impacts.
When we design for any township or community, our priority is listening to its members and stakeholders during a proactive engagement process—one that we continually seek to make more robust and integrated into the full life cycle of any planning or building project. We believe that by intensifying our focus on engagement, our work will more authentically reflect and celebrate the municipalities and/or communities they inhabit.
As a woman-owned small business, we understand the importance and commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within our own firm culture. We are intent on bringing greater diversity to our project teams so that they more accurately represent the communities within which we work.
Beyond our internal staffing, we are also committed to building long-term alliances with WBE, MBE, DBE, and BIPOC-owned firms and fostering an inclusive cross-disciplinary design process that values our consultants as true collaborators.
